That Warm Glow of Love

*The Following has been x-posted to my blog over at nerdfighters.com.

I was just drafted to help my boyfriend out with promoting his iPhone app and maintaining correspondence with various people. It's kind of daunting... The long list of sites to follow, the many people who would be contacting me, and the people who got codes and would be reporting game bugs and or useful suggestions.

He gave me a list of promo codes, and opposite the used codes were names of people/forum they were sent to/used at.
I noticed that JOHN GREEN was on top of the list of people who received one. I don't even really know if John has seen it... I will admit though that John has strong powers of persuasion when it comes to promoting things like that if he wanted to... Because Nerdfighters are so incredibly organized. Nerdfighteria is like the Mafia of Nerddom - with branches and factions all over the world. Decreasing WorldSuck by the minute.

I hope Castle Conflict does well. I already feel like it is doing well and it will do better still - because John Green (regardless of whether he uses it or not) was sent a promo code first. I have nothing to base this on really. Just a feeling of something we called in the Philippines Buena Mano.
When Steve (my boyfriend) was planning on working on an iPhone app a while ago, I was watching a blogTV show where John called Maureen Johnson. (It was that day when Maureen said she was at a coffee shop, and John asked her if it was the one they went to last time). Anyways, Steve noticed John's iPhone... And I joked that John should get a promo code when the app is done.

I'm kind of touched that Steve actually sent John Green one. For no other reason beyond the fact that I had asked, despite my not having meant the request completely. =] I feel like I was given a gift. XD

*The following is no longer part of the x-posted item/s.
I don't think Steve particularly follows the vlogbrothers. He has read Paper Towns and An Abundance of Katherines because I suggested them to him, he's watched the A Cutetacular Introduction (Yay Willy Green!) video, most of the punishement videos, heard John argue pirate versus ninja on Accio Nerdfighters on Pottercast 183 with me, and I've talked to him about the collective strength of nerdfighteria. But he hasn't really gone out of his way to seek out the vlogbrothers... So the fact that he has sent a promo code of his first ever shipped game to John really touched me.

I'm worried my performance would be subpar. I'm so worried I would fail.
Castle Conflict will do great. We have good luck on us.

Goodnight.
